Hervé Tullet is the illustrator and creator of around 70 fantastic children’s books, including the incredibly successful Un Livre (translated into 25 languages, Press Here in English).
His website is amazing (go play!) and you can read an interview with him (in French) here. But for now I just can’t resist quoting the following:
France is where it’s at in terms of children’s literature. The cliché of cutting edge Anglo-Saxon children’s literature has had it’s day, French children’s literature is far more creative!
